New Advanced Farriery Course: BD Learning Hub

Following the release of our Farriery course earlier this year, we’re excited to launch the next submodule on the BD Learning Hub: Advanced Farriery.
Developed in partnership with Master Farrier Tom Smith FWCF GradDIP ELR, the Advanced Farriery course is designed for those who have already completed the Introduction to Farriery & Hoof Care module. Tom is qualified to the highest standard, holding the FWCF; described as the pinnacle of Farriery examinations and passed with distinction at the Royal Veterinary College in Equine Locomotor Research. This new course explores topics such as correcting hoof and limb deformities in foals, managing and treating laminitis, addressing hoof trauma, and resolving limb issues in adult horses.
The BD Learning Hub provides members with expertly written content from the industry professionals, offering a wealth of knowledge for everyone, whether you’re new to the sport or simply looking to refresh and expand your understanding.
How to Access
To access the BD Learning Hub, members simply need to visit the landing page, available via the BD website and follow the instructions to create an account. Once the account is confirmed as ‘active’, you can begin working through the courses available, benefits include a 20% discount on training modules. Coach Package and Package+ holders get free access.
