The FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final returns this week, with 18 combinations from 15 nations set to compete at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth (USA) from 8–12 April. With defending champions Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale not travelling, the 2026 Final will guarantee a new titleholder and presents an open, competitive field across all four qualifying leagues.

From a British perspective, Becky Moody will be the sole representative and enters the Final following an effective qualifying campaign in the Western European League. Riding her homebred Jagerbomb, Moody secured qualification from just three starts, placing second in both London and Lyon, and third in Amsterdam. Becky and Bomb are currently ranked number four in the FEI World Rankings, and travel to Fort Worth in the hope of making it British success for two consecutive years.

The Western European League provides the largest contingent, with nine combinations lining up at the show. Among them is Patrik Kittel, who returns to the Final with Touchdown, having recorded multiple top-three finishes during the season. Germany fields a strong challenge through Raphael Netz, who brings the experienced Great Escape Camelot, and Moritz Treffinger, the youngest athlete in the field at 22, partnered with Fiderdance. Other combinations include Thamar Zweistra (NED) with Kingsdale, Morgan Barbançon (FRA) with the veteran Sir Donnerhall II OLD, Carina Cassøe Krüth (DEN) with Heiline’s Danciera, Bettina Kendlbacher (AUT) with Broadmoars Don Alfredo AWÖ, and Alexa Fairchild (BEL) with Fairplay.

In the North American League, Christian Simonson (USA) has been a dominant force this season with Indian Rock, remaining unbeaten since April 2025 across qualifiers in Myakka City, Ocala and Wellington. He is joined by Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu (CAN), who qualified with Jaccardo following a win in Toronto and consistent performances in Florida, and Kevin Kohmann (USA), who secured the final qualifying place in Wellington with Duenensee and will contest his third consecutive Final.

The Central European League is represented by Sandra Sysojeva (POL), who topped the standings with Maxima Bella after winning four qualifiers, and Justina Vanagaite-Samuile (LTU), who returns to the Final stage with Nabab.

From the Pacific League, Serena Ireland (AUS) earns the starting place with Royalty R following the withdrawal of league winner Mary Hanna.

Additional entries include Julio Mendoza Loor (ECU), who takes the non-league place with Jewel’s Goldstrike, and Yessin Rahmouni (MAR), who secures the FEI extra starting place with Kind of Magic after a rapid rise through the ranks this season.

While several combinations arrive with extensive championship experience or strong winning records, the absence of a defending champion adds an extra layer of unpredictability and excitement.
