Leader boards

Team Quest
The contest for the top spots on the local leader boards was immensely close this year, here’s some ones to watch from the points gathered this season.

In the Open Teams section, the Long Ladies are currently dominating the Team Quest Open leader board for Radford Equestrian Centre in Wales. The team have accumulated a sensational score of 1049.45 and 50 points over the past eight months.

On the Golden Cross EC leader board, South & East team The Seedlings – led by captain Mialee Blair - took the top spot with 50 points and a total score of 1036.27. They were followed by Team Oakenden, Do What At A? And Braeside Mane Attraction – the contest for the top semi-final spots at this venue will be one to watch!

In Buckinghamshire, the Vale View EC U21 Team Quest leader board was dominated by two West Midlands Dressage Group teams; the WMDG Bluebirds flew into the top spot with a total qualification score of 1025.68, whilst the WMDG Bluebird Chicks were hot on their heels with 983.25 and 48 points in the second leader board spot.

With high scores a plenty across the whole country, the action really will be exciting. Willow Banks EC’s U21 Team Quest leaderboard saw no less than four teams earn 50 points. North & East team The ‘Mane’ Attraction, captained by Avril Noble, earned a table topping score of 1006.9; followed by Ride or Dye (1000.43), Are We There Yet? (980.02) and the Eastwell Eaglets (974.54).

Congratulations to all teams who’ve been busy campaigning this season, and best of luck for the thrilling semi-finals!

My Quest
The My Quest competition also looks hot, hot, hot from the South all the way to Scotland. Here’s a few standout riders from across the leader boards.

Replicating their team success, the West Midlands Dressage Group have strong individual representation. WMDG Bluebird’s team member Lucy Sankey and her 14-year-old mare Derrylackey Angel topped two My Quest U21 leader boards, accumulating 30 points in the Under 21 Prelim and 28 in the Under 21 Novice, scoring on average just over 70%. They have competed at a number of venues throughout the season, with plenty of trips to Bromyard Equestrian. Lucy and her pony will take on the semi-final competition at Vale View Equestrian.

In the Scotland region, Jennifer Macgregor and her sweet 21-year-old gelding Harry X111 stand tall at the top of the Highfield at Howe leader board with 30 points. Jennifer’s success shines through as she also contributes to her team ‘Fifi’s Mane Attraction’, putting them in the top five Open teams on the Highfield at Howe leader board too. Allison Bruce and Thorneyside Casino also are a combination to watch as they  claimed the lead in the Open Novice tables with 26 points and a great average score of 69.72%.

Jo Rawlinson and her own Irish gelding Lucere have earned an impressive average score in qualification, topping the Radfords EC My Quest Open Prelim leader board with 71.61% and 32 points. The pair have been competing religiously at Quest competitions to gain their semi-final qualification at numerous venues such as Kingswood Equestrian Centre, Radfords Equestrian Centre and South Staffordshire College. Their hard work and determination has been paying off and at their most recent Quest event in August, the pair won the Open Prelim on a sensational score of 72.92%. Radfords Equestrian is the semi-final destination for the duo, as they’ll hope to continue their ace form. On the same leader board, Helen Hawker, Anna Bischoff and Rachel Scales all earned average scores over 70% - a wonderful achievement.

Under 21 rider Lillian Davies with her tiny but mighty 13.2hh gelding Holyoake Galaxy stood out on the Codham Park leader board, where they topped the U21 Novice table with an average score of 70.99% and 30 points. The 24-year-old Welsh Cob shows no signs of slowing down with a very consistent record with his young rider Lillian, who’s also qualified her pony Lamboro Aderyn Du for the U21 Prelim My Quest Semi-Finals too

Best of luck to all individuals heading to the My Quest Semi-Finals, and congratulations to everyone who’s been out and about collecting points throughout the season.
