From 1–6 July 2025, the NAF Five Star Festival of Dressage returns to Hartpury University & College with six days of Premier League and international competition, including the KBIS Young Horse Sem-Finals and Young Pony Championships.
Hosted at Hartpury University and College, Gloucestershire, the festival welcomes many of Britain’s leading combinations, alongside international stars and rising talents. The event opens with two days of CPEDI3* competition, where audiences can enjoy para sport at its finest. Great Britain’s Sophie Wells (LJT Egebjerggards Samoa), Georgia Wilson (Faside Got The Love) and Mari Durward-Akhurst (Athene Lindebjerg) are among just a few of the leading names lining up in the para ranks.
The CDI action begins on Friday 4 July, opening with Prix St Georges and Grand Prix competition. Carl Hester and Fame return to Hartpury following their Wellington win, joined by fellow Olympians Laura Tomlinson (Issey and Full Moon II), Richard Davison (Intero), and Fiona Bigwood (Donna Bella). Richard White and Heroi Do Seixo return to UK competition after achieving placings in Jardy, whilst household names Gareth Hughes, Louise Bell and Alice Oppenheimer are also in the line-up.
Running alongside the CPEDI and CDI competition, Hartpury’s Premier League commences on Tuesday 1 July, featuring a full range of classes from Advanced Medium to Grand Prix, including Youth and Young Horse classes. With direct qualification tickets for the LeMieux National Championships up for grabs, the show’s one to watch before the Summer Regionals get underway.
The KBIS Young Horse Semi-Finals provide one of the week’s highlights, with rising talents from four to seven vying for places at the grand finale in September, hosted across the weekend at the LeMieux Nationals. There’s also the Young Pony Championships to enjoy, where potential team ponies of the future make their debut on the national stage.
