Tickets are now on sale for the Principles of Dressage event, presented in partnership with Black Horse One, set to take place at Hartpury University and College in Gloucestershire on 21 & 22 March 2026.
We’re excited to present a star-studded presenter lineup at this year’s Principles of Dressage, with two top judges and one high-flying rider set to deliver two days of first-rate training.
FEI 5* judge and BD Judges Director Peter Storr will return to the Principles of Dressage, joined this year by fellow 5* judge Andrew Gardner, who brings a wealth of experience in many roles across the sport. The duo will be supported by the input and expertise of a top rider, as Olympic and European team medallist Becky Moody is set to make her Principles of Dressage debut. We’re excited to present three of the sport’s greats under one roof, for two days of learning and collaboration.
The Principles seminar aims to present training in a holistic way, focusing on what can be achieved when all equestrian roles work in synergy with one another. Bringing together different perspectives enhances learning and performance, no matter your role, level or experience.
Whether you’re a judge, coach, steward, rider or supporter, the event will offer something for everyone; and we’re pleased to unveil the timetable, accessible via the button below. The popular classroom sessions return for 2026, with the aim of upskilling our officials' network across a range of subjects. Meanwhile, the arena sessions provide unrivalled analysis into what judges, coaches and riders are looking for from individual movements through the levels, along with extra advice on how we can improve these in our own training.
The event is presented in partnership with Black Horse One; the German-based dressage software company are renowned for founding the paperless judging solution eDressage™ and are also well known for their Spectator Judging® and Degree of Difficulty platforms.
