Lottie Fry was in flying form at Exloo CDI in the Netherlands (28 May – 1 June 2025), securing three wins and several podium finishes across the Young Horse classes with Van Olst Horses’ promising string of young stallions.
Lottie made an early impression in the Five-Year-Old Preliminary Test on Thursday, piloting the bright chestnut stallion Pjethro (Kjento x Desperado) to an emphatic win on 86.000%. The pair returned the following day for the Final Test, earning 79.000% to finish third in a close top three led by Dutch rider Kim Noordijk and Perfect Ritme on 80.600%.
In the seven-year-old division, the Netherlands-based British rider enjoyed a clean sweep with the talented Especial-sired stallion Everest, who made his international Small Tour debut earlier this year. The combination topped both the Preliminary and Final Tests with scores of 75.700% and 74.729%. Lottie also took third in the Preliminary Test with seven-year-old stallion Ilegro (Inclusive x Negro), who joined his stablemate on the podium with a score of 74.643%, putting them just 0.093% behind Diederik van Silfhout and Zaragon in second.
Another exciting prospect to join Lottie in the arena was Ilegro’s half-brother, the seven-year-old stallion Nalegro (Painted Black x Negro), who contested the Small Tour. The pair posted 66.814%in the Prix St Georges and 65.588% in the Intermediate I, placing just outside the top ten on both occasions. Meanwhile, in the CDI3* Big Tour, Lottie presented Justin, a Johnson-sired 12-year-old stallion. Making their international debut as a combination, they took 15th place in both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special.
