The 2026 British Dressage Members’ Handbook, incorporating the rules and regulations effective from 1 January 2026, is available to view and download online from today.

We have published the digital version of the BD Members’ Handbook for 2026 to help you get ready and prepared for the new season.  The Handbook is your ultimate guide to competing and training with us. Please take the time to read through the rules carefully before getting ready to take part in any BD activity.  It’s vital that all members understand the regulations before going down the centre line or undertaking any training.

The digital version of the BD Members’ Handbook is available online to read and download.  You can bookmark, search, clip and save at any time, making it easy to reference wherever you are.  Using the top navigation bar, you can search for keywords, skip directly to specific sections or pages, and bookmark or clip those that are relevant to you.  By clicking on the download button in the top right corner, you can save a copy directly to your mobile or tablet, so you’ll always have a copy with you when out and about competing or training.

The 2026 edition is available to view here:

As part of our sustainability drive, we have produced only a limited number of handbooks in physical form for our judges, stewards, organisers, and officials, who will be receiving their copy by post before Christmas.  We also have a small quantity available for those members who require a physical copy, so if you have accessibility needs, please complete and submit the form below and our membership team will be in touch to process your request.
