Reflecting on your marks with TestPro
Let’s face it not all of our dressage tests go as planned and sometimes we struggle to understand where we are losing the marks.
Here at TestPro we have started looking at some simple comparisons to try and help riders understand where they could improve.
You can enter the scores from your individual sheets including individual marks, judge name, venue and horse. There is also a comments section so that you can add any particular positives or negatives that happened or record the comments from the collectives.
Once you have saved your marks and the details around venue, horse, rider and judge you can then look at the analysis. TestPro collates information on the individual paces, collectives and halts and shows a comparison in a bar chart. There is also analysis on the movements from the left and right reins to see if you have a difference in suppleness and ease of carrying out the movements.
All of this information is useful especially when you have a training session with your coach. The information could be used for discussion and also then setting some exercises to improve your scores.
In the future we are looking to expand the reporting within HiScore so that scores can be compared across time and tests.
