Premier Leagues and High Profiles

Premier League and High Profile shows offer combinations the chance to excel in the higher level classes from Advanced Medium and beyond.

As well as being a rider favourite, Premier Leagues and High Profiles provide a rare opportunity for dressage fans and supporters to enjoy FEI classes on British soil with many of the nation’s top combinations using the opportunity to gain mileage for international status or to compete for National Championship places.

 

Premier League and High Profile levels

  • FEI Children on Horses
  • FEI Pony
  • FEI Junior
  • FEI Young Rider
  • Medium/Advanced Medium
  • Prix St Georges
  • Intermediate I
  • Intermediate II
  • Grand Prix

All riders must be eligible to enter a regular competition at these levels as per rule 49 before entering a Premier League. 

To be eligible to compete at a Premier League at all levels, combinations must have achieved a minimum of 63% at the level they wish to compete at, in a regular competition not including music, amd have met the minimum criteria as per rule 49. Group 2 riders are exempt up to and including Intermediate I. Group 1 riders are exempt at all levels. 

This does not apply to riders who are competing in the specific U21 FEI age classes (Children on Horses, Pony, Junior and Young Rider) at Premier Leagues. 

National Championships direct qualifiers

At Premier League shows, LeMieux National Championship direct qualifiers are offered for the following classes:

  • Bret Willson Dressage International Advanced Medium Gold
  • Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges Gold & Freestyle
  • Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I Gold & Freestyle
  • Stübben Intermediate II Gold
  • LeMieux Grand Prix Gold

The winner for Advanced Medium, Prix St Georges, Inter I and Inter II must achieve a 65% minimum score to directly qualify. If there is a split class the winner in each will qualify. For the full qualification rules please see the members handbook.
