Becky Moody
Riding her home-bred Jagerbomb and fresh off the back of her FEI World Cup victory, Becky and Bomb will be looking to add to their recent international success.
Becky Moody (46) from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with Jo Cooper and her own Jagerbomb (bay, gelding, 12yrs, 17.1hh, Dante Weltino OLD x Jazz, breeder: Becky Moody GBR) and groom Kim Masson.
Currently ranked fifth in the FEI World Rankings, Becky Moody has been a prominent figurehead of British Dressage for a number of years, winning over 30 national championship titles, 23 wins internationally, she also won the Northern Regional Coach of the Year and was a part of the Podium Potential World Class Squad. Having been a part of the Junior and Young Rider European Championship teams (1998 – 2001), Becky made her next international appearance at the Young Horse World Championships at Vereden in 2012 aboard Carinsio where she finished seventh in the Final. In 2015 Becky made her comeback at CDI3* with Carinsio and has been a regular face at CDI’s across Europe, including as a part of the Nations Cup team, since. In 2024 Becky was a part of the Bronze medal winning team at the Paris Olympic Games, as well as the Silver medal winning European Championships team in 2025 at Crozet (Becky also finished fourth and fifth individually), and started off the 2026 season in style by winning the FEI World Cup, held at Fort Worth, and gained two personal best scores in the Grand Prix and Freestyle competition of 76.761% and 88.330% aboard Jagerbomb. Their current personal best for the Special is 74.404%, which they achieved at the 2025 CDIO5* Nations Cup event in Aachen.
Bred by Becky in 2024, Jagerbomb made his international debut at the Hartpury CDI1* back in 2022, where the pair took a hat-trick win across the three days to score 75.236%, 77.324% and 80.995% in the PSG, Intermediate I and Freestyle competition. The following year, he made his 3* debut at Hickstead, where he won the Grand Prix Freestyle with 75.710%. Since then, his scores have only grown as he has gained confidence in the arena, and after a tremendously successful 2023 season was selected for two CDIO5* Nations Cup events in 2024 before competing at the 2024 Olympic Games. Since Paris, Bomb and Becky have been an unstoppable force, firmly cementing their place amongst the British team.
