2023 Director Elections

The nominations process for this year’s Board Director elections is now complete and we can confirm the candidates being put forward for election for the position of Sport Operations Director, as well as the recommended Board appointments for Finance and Business Development Director.
Sport Operations Director
Two candidates have been approved by the Nominations Committee and British Dressage Board to stand for the position of Sport Operations Director. Simon Bates and Derek Pullem will both be eligible for election, with the appointment effective from the date of the next British Dressage Annual General Meeting in October. Finance Director & Business Development Director
In addition, applications were invited for two Extra Director appointments to the Board, with specific expertise in the areas of Finance and Business Development. The current post-holders, Caroline Godfrey and Suzanne Homewood, are both eligible to be re-appointed for a second four-year term and were the only applicants for these roles. These two positions are not subject to a membership vote and will be re-appointed after receiving Board approval. To read Caroline and Suzannne's vision statements, click the buttons below.
How to vote
Members will be able to cast their votes by electronic ballot from Friday 14 July until the closing date of Friday 1 September.
The election will be conducted independently by Mi-Voice and current members (community members are not eligible to vote) will receive details via email on the 14 July with a unique link to cast votes online.
