Tickets are now on sale for BD Presents 2026, which we are delighted to present in partnership with Rothera Bray. This year’s event will take place on Saturday 21 November at Hartpury University & College, Gloucestershire.

Following this year’s Director elections, British Dressage is delighted to confirm that Jill Day has been re-appointed to the BD Board as Chair, while Anne Keen and Paul Hayler have been appointed as International Director and Officials Director respectively.

From surprise wins, to homebred horses and championship dreams, this year’s Petplan Area Festivals have delivered plenty to celebrate. With out final three summer competitions highlighting more special stories and tickets secured to the championships held at Arena UK at the end of the month.

British riders enjoyed a successful week on the international stage, securing victories and podium finishes across CDI Deauville and CDI Wierzbna Bialy Las (3 – 6 September). Lewis Carrier led the way with a Grand Prix and Freestyle double aboard Diego V, while Mette Dahl claimed two Young Rider wins and Annabella Pidgley impressed in Poland with Vamos Amigos.

British Dressage is thrilled to reveal the September Digital Magazine Championship Special, which is filled with highlights from the international championship season from our Seniors, Paras and Young riders.

The rain didn’t stop the high spirits at the 2026 Senior Home Nations, hosted by the North and East region at Pickering Grange, Leicestershire (29 – 30 August), with the North and East team claiming top spots in both individual and team events.

The Para Home Nations (28 to 29 August) saw Pickering Grange welcome riders from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland as they came together to compete for team and individual honours. Ireland emerged victorious in the team competition and claimed two individual titles, while British riders Laura Tennant and Sara Bates secured impressive wins in the Grade III and Grade IV divisions.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Paul Belton, Founder of Albion Saddlemakers and longstanding supporter of British Dressage, who passed away on Monday 28 August, less than 40 days after the loss of his beloved wife, Sherry.
