The countdown to the 2022 NAF Five Star Winter Championships is well and truly on! Running 13 – 17 April at their well-established home of Hartpury College in Gloucestershire, the championships are taking shape with the key information hub now live and entries open.

Storm Eunice didn’t stop play at Easton College’s Winter Regional Championships (15 – 19 February 2022), though some rescheduling took place to provide safety for all, with Friday’s classes moved to Saturday to avoid the worst of the gales. Competitors were treated to four days of fantastic competition with Sarah Turner, Ruth Hole and Nikki Barker each taking a double win.

The following riders have been selected to represent Great Britain this week at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival 7 at Wellington in Florida, USA (23 – 27 February 2022).

Myerscough’s Winter Regional Championships (12 – 17 February 2022) managed to escape the worst of storm Dudley. There were excellent results for Becky Moody and connections of Moody Dressage, including double wins for Kirstie Clarke and Broomhill Sports Horses’ Powered by Fürst Impression.

Due to the deteriorating weather forecast for the days following Storm Eunice, Beacons Equestrian and British Dressage have taken the decision to postpone the Petplan Equine Area Festival due to run 19 – 21 February.

With an amber warning in place ahead of the arrival of Storm Eunice, British Dressage and Myerscough International Equine Arena have made the sad decision to postpone the Equissage Pulse Winter Para Dressage Championships, due to run 18 – 20 February.

The 2022 Winter Regional Championships continued with the second of the eight-fixture series taking place at Morris Equestrian Centre in East Ayrshire (11 – 12 February 2022). Multiple winners were the order of the day as more combinations secured their tickets to the NAF Five Star Winter Championships.

British riders were on form at Le Mans in France (10 – 13 February 2022). Daniel Watson and Aster Berlin chalked up their first international win, Sarah Higgins and Geniaal impressed at Small Tour and Lara Butler and Kristjan placed second in the Grand Prix Special.
