BD Abroad: Dylan Deutrom on winning form at Jardy

Dylan Deutrom was on winning form at Jardy, France in the Small Tour, Young Horse and U25 classes. Find out the results on how our Great British riders got on.
Dylan (pictured last year) had a spectacular time in the glorious French sunshine taking the win in all three classes in the CDI2* with Sarah Church and Willian Deans’ San Marco, topping the podium with 72.89% on the Friday in the Prix St Georges, with the Netherlands' Elisabeth Geluk and Hamilton not far behind claiming second. Based in Hampshire, Dylan works with Matt Hicks at Hicks Equestrian, where the pair had their first international win at Opglabbeek, Belgium a few weeks ago.
On to the Saturday they were on fire again with 71.76% in the Intermediate I, and went on to wow the judges in the Freestyle with an impressive 77.12%. Matt Hicks and Sarah Warry’s Sunlit Uplands took 6th in the CDIU25 with Dylan at the helm, also on the Saturday with 66.92%. It was seven year old King Boy's (by Dream Boy) first international show abroad where they placed third, "he took it all in his stride, he was fabulous," says Dylan. Going on to say, "I am super proud of them all and many thanks to Hicks Equestrian for their continued support."
Anna Ross presented her own and Beverley Brown’s Delgado in the CDI3*, taking 6th in the Grand Prix Special. Anna tells us about their test, "He was absolute star for a +67% score with a few extra one tempis in the twos and a canter stride or two in the passage so loads more to come. Very lucky to ride this fab horse, I knew he’d do his best and he totally did."
