Congratulations to Lara Butler who was the sole representative attending the Oldenburg CDI in Germany last weekend.

Lara achieved two top seven placings on her international Grand Prix debut with Dr Wilfried Bechtolsheimer’s Kristjan, a home bred 13-year-old son of Polarion. The pair have enjoyed a successful season at Inter II before continuing their good form on the step up to Grand Prix. Speaking on her Facebook page Lara said, “So proud of super Kristjan. His first international GP and he acted like a total pro… So much more to come too so I’m so glad the judges liked him!”

German riders Hubertus Schmidt and Kathleen Keller were emphatic winners in front of their home crowds at the indoor competition which hosts both show jumping and dressage classes, including the prestigious Louisdor Cup qualifier for German Developing Grand Prix horses.
