It’s time to cast your votes, as the candidates for this year’s British Dressage Board Director elections are confirmed.
Earlier this year, nominations were invited for the positions of Chair, International Director and Officials Director (formerly Judges Director); we can now announce the candidates put forward to the membership for re-election.
Chair
The current post holder, Jill Day, was eligible to stand for a second term of four years and she was the only candidate nominated for this position. You can read Jill’s full manifesto below:

International Director
There was also only one candidate proposed by the membership for the role of International Director, which was current Senior Selector Anne Keen. Anne’s full manifesto can be read by following the link below:
DIRECTOR ELECTION STATEMENT: ANNE KEEN
With no additional candidates proposed by the membership for the roles of Chair and International Director, and following approval by the Nominations Committee and the Board, Jill and Anne are now being put forward for formal ratification, in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of British Dressage.
As there is just a single candidate nominated for both the Chair and International Director roles, you will be asked for a simple “yes” or “no” vote to indicate your preference. It is important that you still cast your vote to provide formal agreement for these appointments.
Officials Director
Two candidates have been approved by the Nominations Committee and the Board to stand for the position of Officials Director, which was previously known as Judges Director. Richard Baldwin and Paul Hayler are both eligible for member election to this vital role.

The election results will be announced in early September 2026, and appointments will be effective from the date of the next British Dressage Annual General Meeting, provisionally scheduled for Thursday 8 October 2026.
