BD vacancy: Membership & Horse Registration Assistant

British Dressage (BD) is the national governing body of the Olympic sport of dressage in the UK. There has never been a more exciting time to join the team at British Dressage. The sport is enjoying a public profile like never before, with a growing membership of 17,000 plus a further 35,000 registered supporters. British Dressage has big plans for the future and is looking to recruit for this important role within the membership team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive person with excellent administrative and customer service skills to join us, working to develop our service to members. This will be a full-time role based at our offices in Meriden, West Midlands.

Reporting to the Membership Supervisor, this role requires someone to deliver central administration of membership. You’ll be the first point of contact for our Members over the telephone – so it goes without saying that you’ll have great communication skills.

Delivering excellent customer service at all times, and you must be able to demonstrate experience in a busy administration role and be a multi tasker. Ideally you are approachable, calm under pressure and can be creative with solutions to encourage members to join and renew in a relevant category for their requirements.

You will be a team player and have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ideal, but not necessary, you will have a knowledge of the sport of dressage and its competition structure.

Working hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive. Some weekend and/or evening work may be required from time to time. 

Salary Circa: £17,000 gross per annum.
