British Dressage International Selector vacancies

Following the retirement of Jane McGarel Groves as Para Selector and Leanne Wall as U21 Selector at the end of their terms, we are now recruiting for two key selector positions, vital to the success of the British international teams.
What an incredible year it has been for our teams and individuals representing Great Britain on the international stage. A total of 13 medals were won over the course of the summer, as well as several top ten placings and personal best performances achieved at the World Championships, U21 European Championships and FEI fixtures both at home and abroad.
The future is looking bright with a great pool of talent coming through as we look ahead to Paris and beyond. There is no better time to join the team behind this success, who work collectively behind the scenes to support the selection, development, and training of our international athletes.
Following the retirement of Jane McGarel Groves as Para Selector and Leanne Wall as U21 Selector at the end of their terms, we are now recruiting for these two key selector positions. We are immensely grateful to both Jane and Leanne for their loyal support and dedication to the role – their knowledge and expertise has significantly contributed to the medal success British Dressage has enjoyed internationally in recent years.
Para Selector
As a member of the team of three Para selectors representing British Dressage, working closely with the British Equestrian World Class Programme, this role is part of a panel responsible for the selection of athlete / horse combinations across the five grades for international shows and championships.
The appointed individual will work with the other Para Selectors, Joyce Head and Islay Auty, to select athlete and horse combinations to represent Great Britain at FEI competitions and the Paralympic Games, in line with the Para Dressage Selection Policies.
U21 Selector
As a member of the Under 21 international team representing British Dressage, this role is part of a panel of three selectors responsible for the selection of athlete / horse combinations for international competition across four age categories: Ponies, Children on Horses, Juniors, and Young Riders.
The appointed individual will work with the other U21 Selectors, Nikki Herbert and Richard Baldwin, to select athlete and horse combinations to represent Great Britain at FEI competitions and European championships, in line with the Under 21 Selection Policies.
