News in from Exloo in the Netherlands that our u25 quartet have done us proud to secure a team bronze, narrowly missing the silver.

Yorkshire's Ryan Todd got us off to a great start in today's Inter II to settle the team medals with his mum Julie's Charlex Eskebjerg with a solid 68.91% which was closely followed by a 68.26% by Becky Edwards riding Sarah Oppenheimer's Headmore Delegate on 68.26%.

Dutch based Claire Gallimore scored 67.02% with Annette Ballerina before it was the turn of anchor rider Lottie Fry, brimming with confidence after her recent rides and gold medal at the World Breeding Championships with Glamourdale, with Van Olst Horses and her own Dark Legend. The duo are well established and have been competing in both senior and u25 CDIs this season and that clearly showed when the final mark settled on a stunning 74.94%.

No one could better Charlotte so she topped the podium and it was third in the end for the British quartet on 212.11 behind champions Germany on 219.70 and home side the Netherlands silver on 212.76.

Tommorow the intensity and difficulty is upped in the Grand Prix competition.
