Dujardin and Mount St John Freestyle claim Grand Prix at Lyon CDI-W

Charlotte Dujardin and Mount St John Freestyle delivered a strong start to their 2019/2020 FEI World Cup™ campaign, with an emphatic Grand Prix victory at Lyon CDI-W in France (30 October – 3 November 2019).
The British pairing were the unanimous winners on a score of 79.978% from the judging panel of Isabelle Judet (FRA) at E, Francis Verbeek (NED) at H, Dr Dietrich Plewa (GER) at C, Dr Jean-Michel Roudier (FRA) at M and Susanne Baarup (DEN) at B. Germany’s Isabell Werth with Emilio and Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl with Zaire-E completed the podium on 77.826% and 76.435% respectively.
In the Grand Prix Freestyle, Charlotte and Mount St Freestyle rode to their Tom Hunt produced Snow Queen freestyle, which they debuted at Hartpury earlier this year. The young mare showed a little tension, resulting in some costly errors, yet so much quality for second place behind behind Isabell and Emilio, whilst the 2018 Olympia winners, Frederic Wandres and Duke of Britain for Germany, leapt up the leader board with a super freestyle for third.
