Great Britain’s Emma Hindle and Romy Del Sol pulled off impressive results, together with a Grand Prix Special PB, last week at Randbøl CDI3* in Denmark (8 – 10 November 2019).

Emma and the Romanov x Danny De Vito 13 year old (pictured earlier this year) finished top ten in Friday’s Grand Prix, and posted their best Grand Prix Special score to date – 73.191% - for a top five place on Sunday. The British pairing have been ‘on the road’ for much of the year to give the sensitive, talented mare more exposure to competition conditions, and it’s a ploy that seems to be paying off. They’ve been consistent all year on the Continent, showing increased strength and maturity in recent months, which is reflected in their results.

The victor both days was the home nation’s Daniel Bachmann Andersen with Blue Hors Zepter, a super talented son of Blue Hors Zack. The 11 year old chestnut stallion, whose last competition appearance was in December 2018 at Frankfurt CDI4*, is back after injury and better than ever, to score PBs of 78.717% and 79.511% in the Grand Prix and Special respectively.

Greater Manchester based Olympian, Emma, also contested the Big Tour with her Vivaldi x Havidoff gelding, Diesel 8. The chestnut 11 year old was placed 17th in the Grand Prix and ninth in Saturday’s Freestyle, which was headed by Denmark’s Lone Bang Larsen and Bakkely’s Onandt.

Later this month, on the weekend of 23 – 24 November, we welcome Daniel Bachmann Andersen, Chris Bartle and Michael Eilberg to Addington Equestrian in Buckinghamshire for The British Dressage National Convention in partnership with Harrison Clark Rickerbys. This will be the first training forum in the UK for the Danish star who is currently ranked seventh in the FEI Dressage World Rankings.
