New appointments to the regional team

British Dressage is delighted to announce the appointment of Development Officers for Scotland and North & East.

These two additions to our team are key appointments to support the management and delivery of competition and training activity for our members in the regions.

Shona Casely will be stepping into the role of Scotland Development Officer in late August. Shona is well known in the region as the current Youth Representative on the Regional Committee and regularly attends events and activities across multiple Scottish venues. Bringing a wealth of business experience to the role, Shona will be looking to build on the great work of Ashley Stewart, who leaves us after four years in post to take up a new role with the SSPCA.

We are also delighted to announce that Emma Whay will be taking over the reins from our interim Development Officer Vikki Hayton in early September. Emma has spent the past two years as Events Coordinator and Social Media Manager at Newbold Verdon. She is looking forward to utilising this experience across the North & East, working with the Committee to provide new and exciting opportunities for the members in the region. 

We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation for all of the support that Vikki has given to the region in the past four months.  As a former Chair for the region, Vikki stepped in at short notice to provide continuity for our members in the North & East and we are very grateful for her agreeing to help manage the transition.
