NEW course on the Learning Hub: Equine Anatomy

We're pleased to announce the latest addition to the Learning Hub: Equine Anatomy, a brand-new course that is free for all users to access.

Part of the Equine Health category, this course provides learners with a detailed understanding of the horse's anatomy. It joins our existing Equine Health courses, including Biosecurity and Worming Wisely, giving learners the opportunity to build their knowledge across a range of essential equine health topics.

The Equine Anatomy course explores the structure and function of the horse's body through the following modules:

  • The Skeleton
  • Muscles, Tendons & Ligaments
  • The Cardiovascular and Respiratory Systems
  • The Digestive System
  • The Nervous System
  • The Endocrine, Lymphatic and Urinary Systems
  • The Reproductive System

There’s also an opportunity to test your knowledge by completing the knowledge check quiz.

Whether you're just starting out or expanding your existing knowledge, the course provides a comprehensive guide to equine anatomy, making it a valuable resource for learners of all levels.

How to access 

To access the BD Learning Hub, simply visit the landing page, available via the BD website and follow the instructions to create an account. Once the account is confirmed as ‘active’, you can begin working through the courses available.
