Preview: Addington Premier League

This week Premier League competition returns to Addington in Buckinghamshire for the second direct qualification opportunity of the year, running from 24 – 26 April.

Hosting a range of classes, including direct qualifiers for the LeMieux National Championships to be held at Somerford Park in September. It will also include KBIS young horse and pony qualifiers, and BD international young horse qualifiers.

This year’s show is showing exceptional entries, with a staggering 58 combined entries in the big tour classes, the LeMieux Grand Prix direct qualifier and Stübben Intermediate II direct qualifier. The LeMieux Grand Prix includes some top names in the starting line up; former LeMieux National Champion Lewis Carrier brings along his rising stars, team rider Spencer Wilton presents Woodcroft Django Mon Ami, and Vale View High Profile winner Angus Corrie Deane starts with his own Jack Johnson. 

The selection season continues with FEI age classes and plenty of Britains young stars visiting the Buckinghamshire venue. Whilst there's also set to be hot competition in the classes with direct qualification for the LeMieux Nationals - the Advanced Medium, Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges and Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I features will make great spectator viewing. 

Entry for spectators will be free across all days of the competition for those who want to come and support and enjoy watching our sport on home turf.
