Preview: Aintree International Equestrian Centre High Profile Show

The second High Profile Show fixture in the BD calendar is hosted this week at Aintree International Equestrian Centre, Merseyside (28 – 31 October 2021), which promises four days of great action being brought live to subscribers by ClipMyHorse.TV. Running from today through to Sunday, the event sponsored by Knowsley Hall Private Stays has attracted many top riders from around the UK.

Thursday’s feature classes, which can be watched via ClipMyHorse.TV, are the Magic Prix St Georges starting at 13:44 and the Superflex Intermediate I getting underway at 18:02 this evening. These exciting classes feature several young, up-and-coming riders including Charlotte Lutener, Ryan Todd, Olivia Oakeley and Dylan Deutron to name just a few

Tomorrow sees another Magic Prix St Georges also boasting an exciting line-up. Included in the running order is Becky Moody with young talent Jagerbomb, winner of the 7YO title at the LeMieux National Championships, who will no doubt be ones to watch. Following on will be the evening’s Superflex Intermediate I.

Saturday morning is all about youth with the Pony, Junior, Young Rider and Children on Horses classes taking centre stage with several brand new combinations to look out for. In the afternoon there’s the Haygain Intermediate II followed by (from 17:00) freestyles at PSG, Intermediate I and Grand Prix. The Grand Prix Freestyle commences at 21:27 with the first down the centre line, Jess Dunn and Alicante Valley who recently returned from a successful trip to Le Mans CDI3*. Concluding the class is British Olympian Emme Hindle with her talented gelding, Diesel 8 who achieved top-five placings at both the Nationals and Keysoe CDI3*.

The show continues Sunday morning with the Spillers Medium Freestyle, Nupafeed Advanced Medium Freestyle and the Haygain Intermediate II concluding with the LeMieux Grand Prix, which gets underway at 12:32. The 13-strong class has a competitive line up including Robyn Smith with Francesco 77 who achieved top placings in the U25s classes at the recent Keysoe CDI, and Sarah Rogers with Laura Tomlinson and Ursula Bechtolsheimer’s Rosalie B.

Please note that the Saturday evening gala is ticket only due to controlling capacity of numbers of spectators.
