The eagerly anticipated D&H Associated Championships kicks off at Addington Equestrian, Buckinghamshire, tomorrow for six days of jam-packed competition (28 October – 2 November) that shines the spotlight on the horses and ponies of all breeds, shapes and sizes that make up the best of British Dressage.
The D&H Associated Championships are a celebration of the vast variety and talent within British Dressage, showcasing horses and ponies of all breeds, from Draught horses to Native ponies, as well as celebrating riders in different categories too. The Associated Championships attracted a multitude of combinations last year, with titles awarded across ten categories, and this year is set to see over 700 combinations dance their way down the centre line in hopes of winning one of these prestigious titles.
This year marks the start of a new era for the Associated Championships, with a new venue and a new title sponsor. We are very grateful to Dodson & Horrell for their support and look forward to working with their team to make the Championships bigger and better than ever!
The wellbeing, health and long-term performance of the horse underpin every aspect of the D&H approach, which is to deliver excellence in nutrition for happy, healthy horses. From research and formulation to manufacture, D&H products are designed to support horses across all disciplines and levels, ensuring they receive the nutrition they need to thrive, both in and out of competition. This horse-first philosophy has made D&H a trusted partner to owners and riders, as well as events, governing bodies and national programmes.
The D&H team will be on site every day, so do make sure that you pop by the D&H stand and say hello. Their team will be on hand throughout the event to answer any feeding queries and to offer expert advice - and there might also be a special treat for every horse competing!
Whilst it is no longer compulsory to join an associated society, we do advise that you join these to take advantage of their benefits. Explore how you can get involved with these brilliant associations here.
