Your invite to the Principles of Dressage

Visit the BD Principles of Dressage event on 23 - 24 March at Moulton College to get a head start on your 2024 season.
Whether you're a judge, coach or rider, the 2024 Principles of Dressage event will offer something for everyone; from specific workshops for our officials, to arena sessions that will delve into the new BD tests, this latest BD training event is an opportunity for all.
This year's event combines the experience of two top British judges, with a renowned rider. FEI 5* judges Peter Storr and Andrew Gardner are set to be joined by international rider and trainer Michael Eilberg, to capture the all-round perspective required to create harmonious and successful test riding and training. The trio will be delivering a mix of arena and classroom sessions, providing a superb blend of practical and theoretical learning.
Having released the revised and new BD tests at the end of 2023, our hosts will be delivering a fascinating programme with a strong focus on the test structure and changes. If you're aiming for championship qualification, there'll be test riding tips to help you understand what the judges are looking for. If you're a coach aiming to upskill your own training to benefit your clients, hear first class advice on how to train for the new tests. If you're a judge, you'll benefit from the test riding and training perspectives, understanding how the changes affect marking and directives. With one event capturing all angles of the sport, it's certainly not to be missed.
There are also significant CPD benefits for judges and coaches attending the Principles of Dressage event, please visit our Event page to understand point allocation and session details.
