North & West Regional Committee

Jane joined us as chairman in 2022 having been our coaches rep previously. Jane is a List 2 judge and a UKCC level 3 coach, based in Staffordshire.

As youth rep for the region, I am proud to support our younger riders of all levels.

Having been brought up around horses and competed for many years in eventing it is good to give something back to the equestrian sport.

Alison has been involved in British Dressage as a competitor for 23 years and ridden up to Inter 1. I’ve been coaching from home in Oswaldtwistle and freelance for 12 years, I love learning the intricacies of the biomechanics of the horse, I’m a “why” person so I like to learn all the details, that’s why dressage is so fascinating.  I had a career in Greater Manchester Police prior to becoming a coach and something not many people know about me is whilst on maternity leave I qualified as landscape gardener.  I have 2 children, Jonathan and Charlotte who also compete.

Brenda is a List 4 Judge based in Lancashire, who has competed on four SHI teams on different horses and up to Advanced Medium.

As a listed BD judge Brenda is kept busy and loves encouraging riders at all levels to really enjoy developing themselves and their horses/ponies. When not judging, Brenda spends her time with her husband, home and looking after her granddaughter's ponies. As one of your judges representatives and a BD member she would love to hear from you from both a judges perspective, as well as any other general topics you would like to discuss about BD, and is here to help wherever she can.

Diane is a Grade V Para dressage rider based in Cheshire. She competes her young cob Winnie and has competed at Para championships and Home Internationals. She is passionate about opening access and gaining equality for para riders and supporting those competing or looking to grade.
