Judging
Through our judge training programme, it can take only six to eight months to become a listed judge. Many riders including judging as part of their careers, alongside competing and coaching. To get started, attend a judge training event within your region or visit the National Judge Training opportunities to find out more about the Principles of Judging Seminar.
Coaching
Use your knowledge and skills to inspire the next generation of riders. If you’re a member over 18 you can apply to take your British Dressage Coaching Certificate (BDCC) qualifications.
Holding a BDCC dressage specific qualification demonstrates that you have the technical knowledge and practical ability to coach riders to the level of the qualification gained. You can get involved with regional activities and training sessions once you hold all of the required compliance and have completed your listing on the trainer's database.
