With two fantastic scores produced by Sir Lee Pearson and Natasha Baker yesterday to put ParalympicsGB in the medal mix, today promise to be a tight affair with anyone of six teams vying for a coveted place on the podium. Sophie Wells had a tricky ride on Don Cara M but they delivered a new personal best which was enough to give Britain gold and maintain their unbeaten Paralympic team record.

Grade II rider Sir Lee Pearson and Natasha Baker in the Grade III gave ParalympicsGB hopes of a further medal on the first day of the team competition in Tokyo today.  A new PB score from Lee and Breezer of 77.636% combined with Natasaha’s 76.618% aboard Keystone Dawn Chorus to put Great Britain in gold position of the teams who’ve had two riders complete. However, there’s everything to play for tomorrow when the medals will be decided.

It may have been Paralympics number three for Natasha Baker but it was a championship debut for her new dancing partner Keystone Dawn Chorus. Today, she introduced her latest star to the world and made a huge impact by taking silver in the Grade III individual contest in Tokyo.

What a start our heroic riders have given us on day one of the Tokyo Paralympic Equestrian competition. The action kicked off with two medals in the Grade II including a momentous 12th Paralympic gold medal for Sir Lee Pearson and a debut bronze for Georgia Wilson. In her third consecutive Games, Sophie Wells then followed with an emotional silver in the Grade V.

British Equestrian and the British Dressage Selectors can today confirm the athlete and horse combinations that will form the teams tor the FEI Senior and U25 Dressage European Championship, set to take place at Hagen, Germany, on 7–12 September this year.

We're delighted to release the wildcards for this year's LeMieux National Championships, 16 - 19 September at Somerford Park in Cheshire. UPDATED with remaining wildcards 14.00 on 21.08.21.

Gabriella Blake and Strong Beau were in excellent form, winning all three of their Grade I classes in the 3* competition at Bishop Burton CPEDI 1/2/3* (09 - 13 August 2021).

Young talent was out in force at the BD Youth Home International, hosted over two action-packed days at The David Broome Event Centre, Mount Ballan in Monmouthshire, (9 – 11 August).

Great Britain’s Ruby Hughes and Gracie Morgan put up an admirable challenge in Strzegom, Poland (11 – 15 August 2021) for their first FEI European Championship appearance, showing much promise for the future.

A busy weekend of Regional Championship dressage took place just across the Severn Bridge at The David Broome Event Centre at Mount Ballan Manor in Monmouthshire (06 – 08 August 2021).
