Festival Focus - Brook Farm Equestrian 21

Brook Farm (23 – 25 July) was the riders chance to gain their qualification at the PetPlan Equine Summer Championships in October. Showing judges their best tests to be awarded top marks. In a busy weekend of festivals, combinations were determined to put their best foot forward.

 

Petplan’s picks!  

In their third show together, after only coming together in May of this year, Lucy Davies and Flormagio won the Elementary Silver with 70.10%. The nine-year-old mare won against a strong class to gain their title at the PetPlan Summer Championships. Lucy took to social media, “Winning the massive elementary silver at brook farm. This was our 3rd show together. Still chuffed to bits.”

Existing PetPlan combination, Nikki Goldup and Watermill Rocks won the Elementary Bronze on a score of 70.78%. After their first Championship appearance earlier this year, they have come back fighting for another chance at the title. After being together for three years the pair had an amazing day to Brook Farm Equestrian, thanking the team for “the most amazing day.”

After re-starting their PetPlan journey this year, Jade Salisbury won the Prelim Silver on her mare Florence X with 71.74%. This will be their first time at the Championship but they have had a successful season so far and look forward to what’s to come. Jade, a professional rider, who has her own equestrian company is no stranger to BD after competing on various other horses over the last few years.
